Daechir laughed, "Yurina, don't think you're so clever. These people are not fools. Let's stick to my plan."
Yurina had originally planned to trick them into giving her the head, then randomly point them to a passage and find a way to seal them inside. Unfortunately, her intentions were too obvious, and no one fell for it. She gave up helplessly and asked, "What's your plan?"
"First, tidy this place up, then we'll solve our problems."
"Qiqi, restoring your body is very troublesome. How about you help me build my lower body first? I won't betray you this time, please believe me. I deeply regret throwing you into the sea last time," Yurina pleaded.
Daechir thought for a moment and nodded. "Alright. I hope you are someone I can trust. Remember, this is the last chance I'm giving you. If you betray me again, I will kill you."
Yurina sneered inwardly, "You're just a head, what can you do to me?" But she said aloud, "Please believe in my sincerity."
The group began to clear out the debris in the Garden of Eden and sweep the floors. After three days, it was finally clean, but they had also finished all the food they brought. "Now what? There are no stores here. Are we going to starve to death?" Kit asked.
Yurina thought to herself, "It would be better if you starved to death, you pathetic humans."
"Do you have any Star Coins left?" Daechir asked, looking at the man.
The man took out his Nine-Star Card, glanced at it, and replied, "There are still two thousand three hundred Star Coins left."
"Then go buy some food and come back through the entrance we came in." The man was very reluctant, afraid for the safety of his wife and daughter if he left them behind. Sonita saw his concern and said, "Dad, take Mom and me with you. That way we can bring back more things."
"I'll go with you!" Kit volunteered.
"Fine, but put me down first. You can't carry me around all the time, can you?" Daechir seized the opportunity to demand.
For the past few days, Kit had been hiding her on his person like a miser, afraid she would be snatched away. He only brought the head out when everyone was talking, which greatly displeased Yurina. "It seems we still don't trust each other," Sonita's words voiced everyone's thoughts. Daechir felt that nothing could be accomplished if this standoff continued, so she had to compromise. A short while later, only Yurina was left in the Garden of Eden. Ares hadn't appeared since he left last time. However, before leaving, Daechir had winked at her with her single eye. "What does that mean?" After a moment of thought, she finally understood. She walked towards passage number nine. After walking for two kilometers, she came to a large stone door. On the door were written the words "Trespassers will be killed." Because she wasn't tall enough, it took her a great deal of effort to remove the character for "killed," revealing a red button inside. Seeing this button, a smile appeared on her face, as if she remembered something from the past. After reciting a password, the stone door slowly opened, revealing a straight corridor with various graffiti on both sides. After walking for about thirty meters, she suddenly stopped in front of a painting. The wall depicted a man rowing a small boat in a lake, while a girl on the shore waved at him. This was the first painting she had made after gaining consciousness. At that time, her mind was full of this man's shadow, and she had unconsciously painted this scene.
When Yurina was first created, she single-mindedly regarded Ronnie as her husband, clinging to him all day, much to his annoyance. Furthermore, she often caused trouble. Left with no choice, Ronnie called Daechir to take her to Eagle's Nest and lock her in an iron box. It was stipulated that she could come out to be active once every twenty years, for half a month each time, but only within the stone gate. When she was bored, she would doodle in this corridor. Returning here today, more than two hundred years later, she was filled with emotion, awakening that distant memory in her heart. More than ten minutes passed before she came to her senses and continued forward. Soon, she arrived at another stone door. Pushing it open, she rummaged through a wooden box in the corner. "How come there are only these few left?" Yurina muttered to herself.
She counted them; there were seventeen in total. "It must have been that annoying mutt that came in and took them. Both it and Ares need energy spheres. It seems I can only wait for Daechir to recover before making a new batch."
She swallowed five in one go and took two more with her for Daechir. As she was about to leave, she took more than thirty gold coins. "These poor ghosts, I can use this to trade for the head," she thought.
With ample energy, her speed increased significantly. She propped herself up with her hands and scuttled back to the Garden of Eden like a spider. The people who had gone out had not yet returned. After waiting for more than four hours, a young boy's voice broke the silence. "We're back!" Yurina disliked this child the most, and hearing his voice, her brow furrowed slightly. They hadn't bought much; the man carried it all himself, while the others were empty-handed. "Did it take a whole group of you to buy this little? You all must have a lot of free time!" Yurina said. "We didn't have enough money, so we could only buy this much," Sonita replied. "It seems you're in great need of funds. How about this? If I have gold, would you give me the head?"
"Do you really have some?" Kit asked first.
Yurina didn't answer, but took out two gold coins from a small pouch on her chest and waved them in front of everyone. "I wasn't lying, was I?"
"Where did you find it?" the man asked, his tone filled with anxiety and greed. Of course, Yurina wouldn't tell him, just saying with a smile, "Well? Want to trade? I have more here."
"Give it all to me! I'll trade with you!" Kit raised the head and was about to step forward. The man immediately blocked his way, saying, "No, there should be more gold here. We can't just hand over the head for this little bit. It's not worth it."
"Get out of my way! This is my business, not yours!" Kit said angrily.
Hearing this, the man's face immediately fell. He took a few steps forward, snatched the head, and then kicked Kit. "Get lost!" At this moment, the man had completely torn off his disguise. His face was ferocious, his expression murderous. Seeing his eyes, Sonita fearfully moved closer to her mother. "Dad looks like a different person. It's so scary." Kit was kicked in the chest and staggered backward, falling to the ground with a thud. Fortunately, the man hadn't kicked too hard. He patted the dust off his clothes and slowly stood up. This blow made him realize he had lost his right to speak and filled him with a deep hatred for Sonita's family. "One day, I will kill you all." This was the first thought that came to his mind. Daechir, having a new owner, was not happy. She knew this man would be much harder to deal with; he would not be at her beck and call.
